Dallas PD Citizens Police Academy

The Dallas Police Department will host its 4th annual Citizens Academy in August 2024. 

Students will learn about police operations and the day-to-day role of a patrol officer, investigator, police dispatcher, and police administrator. 

The Academy is scheduled for 11 weeks, from 6:30 p.m. until around 8:30 p.m. Classes are Tuesday evenings at the Dallas Civic Center and other locations.
