Intro to Theatre Tech and Design

**A Student may only take Acting I and Acting II one time.  

Intro to Theatre Tech and Design will run April 8th- May 8th, 2024.

Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30p-8:30p.

Your child MUST fall into the age range of the class you register for by the first day of class.

COST: $170 per student. $50 deposit is due at the time of registration.

ntro to Tech Theater and Design

Ages 13-17

This class with introduce students to the basics of technical theater and design. Students will be split into groups and each group will be given an area of design to focus on. Don’t worry, all students will still learn about the various areas of design! We will assign a short, ten-minute play and students will apply everything that they learn during class on creating a cohesive design element as if they were a true production team. We will also discuss safety and how to use our sound and light boards! Whether you are an actor looking to expand their knowledge of theater, or a true blue techie, this class is for you! 

This class will culminate in a reception where the students can show off their design sketches and builds. 

All classes are non-refundable unless canceled by the Dallas Theater.
