NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

BY THE CITY COUNCIL

OF THE CITY OF DALLAS, GEORGIA

A public hearing will be conducted by the City Council of the City of Dallas, Georgia on December 1, 2025 at 5PM in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 129 East Memorial Drive, Dallas, Georgia.

Unified Development Code update and Zoning Map update and re-adoption

The City Council will be considering amendments to the recently passed Unified Development Code for the City of Dallas. The intent of this hearing is to recommend any “cleanup” edits to provide uniformity and correct perceived conflicts in the Code. The City Council will also be considering a proposed re-adoption of the Official Zoning Map of the City of Dallas to reflect the current zoning map as of September 30, 2025. Copies of the proposed amendment and zoning map are available for review at City Hall or online at www.dallasga.gov.

After public hearing, the City Council will meet in the regular session scheduled for December 1, 2025 at 5:15PM to consider and vote on the proposed amendment and zoning map re-adoption.

Public Input:

The City Council encourages residents, property owners, developers, and stakeholders to participate in the review process.
