Public Hearing Notice: Citywide Rezoning
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION & CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DALLAS
Public hearings will be conducted by the Planning Commission on April 25th and May 2nd, 2024 at 6PM; and by the City Council on August 5th and September 9th, 2024 at 5PM, in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 129 East Memorial Drive, Dallas, Georgia.
CITYWIDE REZONING:
The City of Dallas Planning Commission and City Council will hold public hearings to consider repealing and replacing the zoning ordinance (Chapter 44) and official zoning map of the City of Dallas. This rezoning will be citywide and impact all properties. The rezoning will authorize multifamily uses within newly created multifamily zones. A copy of the proposed amendment is on file in the office of the clerk for the purpose of examination and inspection by the public.
The public is invited to attend the hearings for oral comments, or submit written comments on the subject to the City of Dallas, Attention: Dallas City Council, 129 East Memorial Drive, Dallas, Georgia 30132, prior to the public hearings.
